Are there any limitations to using Straw Fiber Plastic?
The main limitations of using straw fiber plastics include its temperature resistance and environmental regulations.
Limitation of temperature resistance
Straw fiber plastic cups can withstand certain temperatures, but are not recommended for use in high-temperature containers. Since straw fiber plastic cups are made of a mixture of straw fiber and plastic, high temperatures will cause the internal plastic to deform and soften, which will not only affect the service life of the cup itself, but may also affect the hygiene and safety of the beverage. Therefore, it is recommended that straw fiber plastic cups be used for room temperature drinks and avoid high temperature environments.
Restrictions of environmental regulations
The National Development and Reform Commission has clarified the time frame and policies for China's plastic bans and restrictions. The 10th meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reforms reviewed and approved the "Opinions on Further Strengthening Plastic Pollution Control" and laid out arrangements for plastic pollution control. The opinions propose that by 2025, the management system for the production, circulation, consumption, recycling and disposal of plastic products will be basically established, the level of development and application of alternative products will be further improved, the amount of plastic waste landfills in major cities will be greatly reduced, and plastic pollution will be effectively controlled. These policies restrict the use of certain plastic products, promote recyclable, easy to recycle and decompose alternative products, and increase the supply of green products.
